Our professional teaching staff welcome the opportunity to visit your location and explore your, or area, woodlands with your students or guests. We can also introduce them to our Ambassador Animals as part of the program.

Let Trees For Tomorrow (TFT) bring the learning to you! Listed below are five of the most popular courses tht we offer for outreach. Each runs 60 minutes (can be expanded to 90 minutes on request). If you don’t see the perfect program, please contact Shelly Rudnick-Peterson, Outreach Program Coordinator, at shelly@treesfortomorrow.com or (715) 479-6456 ext. 233 to discuss other options.

Birds of Prey: Learn about the characteristics that are unique to raptors and their lifestyles. Finish up with an introduction to TFT’s ambassador red-tailed hawk.

Hands-on Herpetology: Explore how reptiles and amphibians (“herps”) are alike, and how they are different. Learn about the herps that call Wisconsin home, and end with a visit with our ambassador snake and turtle.

Logging Days: Take a glimpse into the past as you learn about Wisconsin’s logging history. Get hands on as you compete in your own lumberjack competition, include crosscut saw, match light, and cookie toss.

Orienteering: You’ll never be lost again once you learn the basics of compass use!  Test your new skills as you complete our circle course.

Leaf Printing: Learn some basics about tree identification as you collect leaves to make printed cards. TFT will provide the paint and cards to print on. Feel free to bring your own cotton apparel if you’d like to “leave” some of the Northwoods on your clothing to take home!
