Cross-Country Ski ReTREEt

Winter’s no time to hibernate! Discover the joy of skiing and the winter beauty of the Northwoods with your whole family on this weekend retreat! Our instructors offer beginner skiers instruction on movement on classical skis, up and downhill techniques, kicking, gliding and poling, as well as instruction to all levels of ski abilities.  After our ski lessons, we’ll venture out onto some of the local ski trails to perfect our skill and enjoy the winter landscape.

Snowshoeing ReTREEt

Cabin fever got you down? Snowshoeing is an outdoor activity that accommodates a wide range of skill level, making it the perfect winter family activity! After going over the basics of snowshoeing, we’ll venture out into the forest to learn about winter in the Northwoods. Make memories with your family as you test out your snowshoe skills at Northwoods "gem" trails, including Sylvania Wilderness Area!

Perfect for families with children ages 10 and up! Spend the entire weekend with TFT staff for an outdoor-based retreat in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin.
