in the Education Hall

For 4-7 year olds + adults.
Explore the wonders of the Northwoods through activities designed for families to enjoy together! Minimum of one adult for every three child participants. Cost: $4 per person (child and adult). Pre-registration is NOT required.

FREE small ice cream cone!

Bring an unexpired dry or canned food item for the Vilas County Food Pantry to any Trees For Tomorrow summer program and receive a coupon for a free small cone from Dairy Queen in Eagle River. Offer good while coupons last.

Program Descriptions

Color Me Camouflaged – Discover how animals blend into their surroundings through a series of hide-and-seek activities.

Diggin’ in the Dirt – Join us as we explore rotting logs and dig in the soil to discover who’s living beneath our feet.

To Be a Tree – Discover the amazing lives of trees first-hand as you create your own tree costume and transform into a tree before our eyes!

Remarkable Reptiles – Explore the world of these cold-blooded critters and meet TFT’s live reptiles up close.

Critter Catching – Join us to discover what is wriggling under the water as we net for critters at Silver Lake. Close-toed shoes or boots are required! Meet at Silver Lake.

Hunters of the Sky – Learn about the lives of Wisconsin’s birds of prey, test your wings in a migration game, and meet TFT’s live hawk.

Furry Friends – Get hands-on with some mammal pelts and bones, then explore the forest for signs of our furry friends.

Go with the Flow – Learn how water is constantly on the move as you travel through the water cycle and leave with your very own rain stick.Worms, slugs, and bugs – oh my! Join us as we go hunting for some creepy crawlies in the forest.
