At the Natural Resources Careers Exploration Workshop (NRCEW) held June 13-18, 2027, you'll spend an intensive, immersive week diving into hands-on fieldwork with state and industry experts in forestry, wildlife management, law enforcement, and environmental science. Whether you dream of managing public lands, conducting field biology, or shaping the future of sustainable resources, NRCEW gives you the practical skills, field insights, and professional network you need to take your first big step toward a rewarding career in conservation.

SUPPORT THE NEXT GENERATION OF INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS! For many students, participating in this workshop is a life-changing experience. We need your help to ensure this program continues to be accessbile to all high school students regardless of their ability to pay full tuition. Your financial contribution will ensure more students have access to exploring a career in natural resources. 

Designed for high school sophomores, juniors and graduating seniors at time of appication who are interested in exploring careers in all aspects of natural resource management. This program provides meaningful opportunities to gain insight into a variety of career paths. Students experience real-life field-work, learn about education and training requirements, expected salary ranges and what today's job market looks like. They also gain exposure to a variety of natural resources issues, learn life skills and have the opportunity to make new friends who share their interests.

Cost: $210/student & includes instruction, materials,
5 nights lodging and 15 meals.
