Field studies and hands-on activities to inspire enthusiasm for sutainable use and managment of our natural resources
Visiting schools stay at TFT’s campus for one-day, overnight, or multi-night. Students stay in furnished dormitories, eat meals in our dining hall, and prep for field studies in the Education Hall.
Our professional teaching staff welcome the opportunity to visit your classroom and explore area woodlands with your students and/or introcuce them to our Ambassador Animals.
Students learn from and interact with our professional educators in a LIVE virtual format via Zoom or Google Meet. Programs can be facilitated in full by TFT staff or co-facilitated.
Join other high school groups from around the state at TFT’s Eagle River campus. Program dates, themes, and curriculum are pre-set by TFT…all we need is you and your students! Perfect for small groups of students (3-12) who want to experience the science of learning alongside high schoolers from other schools.

Sophmore, junior and senior students discover if a natural resources career is their career path. Students experience real-life field work, develop outdoor skills and learn about various occupations by meeting foresters, fisheries and wildlife biologists, water resource specialists, conservation wardens, recreation land managers, and more!
