BOOK EXPERIENCE

Trees For Tomorrow has been educating students about natural resources since 1944! This experience has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of students by immersing them for one to five days in the heart of the northern forest. Our professional teaching staff are experts at using field studies and hands-on activities to awaken student awareness of the land's capabilities and limitations, and to inspire student enthusiasm for sustainable forest stewardship.

We do the teaching! Our professional Environmental Science Teachers have formal classroom experience, Master’s Degrees, and a variety of experience teaching in environmental education settings.

We have updated curriculum aligned with Next Generation Science Standards.

We are an accredited school! Our goal is to be an extension of your classroom. Relevant and fun!

We are located in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest and surrounded by public lands to explore and learn in.

We are full-service! We do the teaching, cooking, and cleaning!

Virtual Learning

Visiting schools stay at TFT’s campus for one-day, overnight, or multi-night. Students stay in furnished dormitories, eat meals in our dining hall, and prep for field studies in the Education Hall.

Our professional teaching staff welcome the opportunity to visit your classroom and explore area woodlands with your students and/or introcuce them to our Ambassador Animals.

Students learn from and interact with our professional educators in a LIVE virtual format via Zoom or Google Meet. Programs can be facilitated in full by TFT staff or co-facilitated.

Additional Options for High School Students

Join other high school groups from around the state at TFT’s Eagle River campus. Program dates, themes, and curriculum are pre-set by TFT…all we need is you and your students! Perfect for small groups of students (3-12) who want to experience the science of learning alongside high schoolers from other schools.

Multi-High School Workshops during school year
