Trees For Tomorrow is seeking community volunteers to assist with education, maintenance, special events, and office work on our beautiful, 40-acre forested campus. TFT has been in existence since 1944, and has continued to facilitate natural resource workshops for K-12 students, college students, adults, and the general public in the wise use and management of our forested lands for the past 72 years.
We are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas:
- Education Programs – Volunteers will assist our education staff in presenting wildlife, forestry, water quality, orienteering, cross-country skiing, and snowshoe workshops for school and adult groups. Ongoing training will be provided. Formal teaching experience is NOT required.
- Maintenance – Those wishing to utilize their building and maintenance skills will help our maintenance manager complete special campus projects.
- Events - We have several volunteer positions available to assist with various aspects of our special events including the Golf Outing fundraiser (first Friday in June), and Forest Fest (last Saturday in July), and our spring Banquet Fundraiser (March 2019).
- Office – Volunteers assist our administrative staff with mailings, transcribing contact information for entry into our database, and other administrative tasks throughout the year.
*Trees For Tomorrow is an accredited school. As such, volunteers may be subject to a background check. Please complete our volunteer application and forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org. (link to fillable pdf application)
